Walking on Dartmoor

Dartmoor is a wonderland of trails and wide-open spaces. Bundle up in a warm coat and your favourite scarf and explore the enchanting landscapes from the open commons to dark and shady woodlands. Choose from one of our Circular Walks, or head out to explore one of the many tors on the moor.

Dartmoor Search and Rescue Teams play a crucial role in safeguarding lives across Dartmoor National Park. There are 4 teams, North Dartmoor, Ashburton, Tavistock, and Plymouth.
