5 Day Trad Climbing Development Course

Our Trad Climbing Development Course is a 5 day intensive course with the aim of getting your confident leading multi-pitch trad routes. 
 
This course is ideal if you are looking to gain the skills to lead trad routes independently. This course will also cover a days improvised rescue skills which is an essential skills if things don’t go to plan!
 
The course will based on Dartmoor for 4 days with a day at the sea cliffs in Bosigran in Cornwall.
 
You don’t need to have any experience of lead climbing (this is what this course is all about) having some experience of outdoor climbing would be really advantageous please get in touch if you are unsure if this course is suitable.
 
Over the 5 days you will be with one of our experienced Mountaineering & Climbing Instructors who are full members of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors (AMI).

The course is run on a 1:2 ratio ensuring maximum learning time for each participant.
