The beekeeper’s year – a beekeeping workshop with Canonteign Falls apiarist. September 7th 11 am.

Join Canonteign Falls Beekeeper John in Canonteign Kitchen’s pretty courtyard for a talk about the beekeeper’s year. He’ll go through some bee basics and discuss how he gets ready for the spring explosion of bees, tries to keep ahead as the bees prepare their honey, extracts the honey and does all the preparations over winter for another year. The talk will last roughly 1 hour.
