Children's Beginner Sewing Workshop - February Half Term

Join Pom Stitch Tassel over February half term for a children’s beginners sewing workshop on Thursday 16th February, 2-4pm. 

Get to know how to use a sewing machine, learn how to set up your machine, how to thread a bobbin, how and when to use different stitches and seams and then put all your knowledge together to create an envelope cushion cover. 

Please note this involves operating a sewing machine so is only suitable for children age 7 – 17.  This workshop is for absolute beginners, no previous sewing experience is required. 

Equipment is supplied for the workshop including the sewing machines and attendees will take home a completed envelope cushion cover as well as a basic knowledge of how to operate a sewing machine. Please bring half a metre of cotton or polycotton fabric with you to make the cushion.
