Children’s Beginners Sewing Workshop (age 7 )

Join Pom Stitch Tassel this Christmas for a children’s beginners sewing workshop. Thursday 22nd December, 2-4pm.  

Get to know how to use a sewing machine with our beginners sewing workshop.  Learn how to set up your machine, how to thread a bobbin, how and when to use different stitches and seams and then put all your knowledge together to create a festive envelope cushion cover.

Please note this involves operating a sewing machine so is only suitable for children age 7 – 17.

All equipment is supplied for the workshop including the sewing machine, and attendees will take home a completed envelope cushion cover as well as a basic knowledge of how to operate a sewing machine.

Please bring 1/2 metre of festive themed cotton or polycotton fabric with you to make the cushion.

This workshop is for absolute beginners, no previous sewing experience is required.
