Get Set for a glorious August Bank Holiday Weekend with Miss Ivy Events and Tavistock BID

On Friday 26th the much loved Love Local Friday Gift Market will be in full swing in the Butchers Hall from 10:00 with a delightful selection of handmade gifts and treasures with a strong focus on goods crafted locally. Whilst out on Bedford Square, local favourite Steve Roffey will be singing up a storm of 50s Rock ‘n’ Roll favourites.

On Saturday 27th, head to the delicious Tavistock Street Food Festival. This regular summer fixture always delivers a great atmosphere. There’ll be street food stalls serving cuisine from around the world, amazing live music from popular local performers, all washed down with a pint of craft lager or perhaps a Pimms or two.

Topping off a perfect weekend, Tavistock Meadows will provide the backdrop for The Great British Summer Fete. Starting at 10:30 until 15:30 there’ll be live music and oodles of food stalls. Hilarious madcap juggling jester Elfic will be on hand with his circus workshop and an array of traditional games, a bickering Punch & Judy, and colourful bouncy castles will be on offer for the little ones. Our four-legged friends won’t be disappointed either thanks to a fun Dog Show in aid of Gables Dogs & Cats Home. Come and join us  – we’ll be waiting to welcome you.
