Manaton Show & Fair

Manaton’s annual Show and Fair returns for this summer’s events calendar on Saturday 13th August starting at 1.30pm until 5pm. It takes place on the local cricket pitch, by the fifteenth-century St Winifred’s Church and tree-lined village green, within sight of the stunning open moorland of Hayne Down and Hound Tor. The Show has everything that you would expect from a traditional small country show and a lot more besides.

From Dartmoor gin and Devon fudge to local crafts, classic cars, live music and a bar, as well as the famed Arts & Crafts, Horticultural & Home Produce Show, there is definitely something for everyone at this family focused event:

Dartmoor Ponies Display • Devon craft and produce stalls • North Devon Falconry • Plant and cake stalls • Children’s races • Cream teas • Classic cars • Fun dog show • Music from the Lost Coyotes band • Vintage bric-a-brac • Horticultural Show • Coconut shy • Children’s entertainer • Book stall • Burgers and beer • Ice cream

And last but not least, a completely bonkers terrier race!
