Event Details

Weekly Thursday Craft Market at Widecombe-in-the-Moor, Dartmoor, in the National Trust’s 16th Century Church House,TQ13 7TA.  A variety of hand-made products all created by the Devon crafters exhibiting.   A typical range would include: pottery, classical film photography (analogue) of Dartmoor, engraved glass, house linen, iron work, honey and bee products, hand felted mice, art cards, hand-made notebooks, handmade soaps, wood turning, felted artwork, books from the Widecombe History Group, and special jewellery.

There is also a produce market on the fourth Saturday of the month in the same venue.

Some of the highlights include: fantastic panoramic views of the village and surrounding moor, scenic walks, challenging on and off road cycling, horse riding, two pubs, large car park with public conveniences, a cafe, the ‘Cathedral in the Moor’, (a wonderful 16th Century Church), B & B’s, The Smithy Pottery, gift shops, a post office, a working forge, home of Uncle Tom Cobley’s Widecombe Fair.
