“ I have never before, in my long and eclectic career, been gifted with such an abundance of natural beauty as I experienced filming War Horse on Dartmoor.” Steven Spielberg.

Annie’s Cottage

Milton Combe

About

Annie’s Cottage is a delightful holiday cottage, recently renovated to a high standard, situated in the quiet, picturesque village of Milton Combe close to Buckland Abbey and within easy reach of Dartmoor National Park. The cottage sleeps two in its stately bedroom. One well behaved dog for a small charge, minimum age 12 months, welcome.

There is a regular bus service to Yelverton Monday to Saturday from Milton Combe.

The Who’d Have Thought It Inn, which dates back to the 16th Century, offers good local food and is just a short stroll from Annie’s Cottage. Children and dogs very welcome.

An excellent deli, butcher’s shop, supermarket, garage and post office are located at Yelverton, 2 miles from the cottage. We also love Crapstone Stores and PO (1.5 miles) for freshly baked bread and fresh vegetables.
