Duchy House B&B in Princetown – at the heart of Dartmoor – is a two-minute walk from the village pubs, cafes and shops.  We have six en-suite rooms, each with a Nespresso coffee machine , flat-screen TV, free WiFi and complimentary toiletries. Room types available include super king-size double, twin, classic double and triple / family.

If you enjoy cycling, walking or just relaxing then Duchy House is the perfect place to stay! Numerous walks and cycle trails start from our front door and there are many more within easy reach. We have mountain bikes available to hire and can help you plan a ride or walk and even provide you with a homemade packed lunch to enjoy on your day out. For your peace of mind, we have dedicated secure bike storage and private off road parking.

We provide super comfy beds and a five star breakfast with a wide variety of homemade choices – from a locally sourced cooked breakfast to a healthy smoothie and everything in between –  leaving you refreshed and refuelled ready for the day ahead.

Duchy House sits at the crossroads of Dartmoor so exploring the area is easy. The ancient town of Tavistock is only seven miles away, and several National Trust properties and moorland golf courses are within easy reach.
