Furzeleigh Mill is a 16th Century former Mill in glorious Devon. It has been a small country hotel for about 100 years having started life as a Spring fed Corn Mill in 1547.

Situated in its own grounds with a sunny south facing aspect on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park bordering the South Hams, Furzeleigh Mill offers an informal homely atmosphere combined with great food and great service. Located near the Devon Expressway the hotel is perfectly located for holidays or business, Moor or Coast. It sits between the ancient Stannary town of Ashburton with its foodie reputation and wonderful antique shops and the former woollen town of Buckfastleigh boasting quaint streets and many artisan shops. The South Devon Railway, Butterfly & Otter Sanctuary and Buckfast Abbey are all within walking distance of us. The Medieval town of Totnes is just a short drive (6.7miles), with Dartmouth and the best beaches in the South West within a 30 minute drive. We are equidistant between Devon’s cities Plymouth and Exeter.

Food & Drink Tours
We are promoting some all-inclusive Food & Drink Tours during the Autumn.
The offer will include four nights accommodation with three days filled with epicurean delights including visits to
South Devon Chilly Farm, Riverfood Organic, Dartmoor Estate Tea and the Calancombe Estate Vineyards , Gin school and restaurant.
All meals and local transport will be included in the price of the tour with a choice of rooms from £1100 per person.

Furzeleigh Courtesy Car
We now have a 7 seater luxury Chauffer driven Courtesy Car which we can offer to our guests for station and airport pick-ups, transport to and from wedding venues and other attractions in the area.
We can also offer a collection and return journey for people dining at our restaurant. There is a charge for this service but it is less expensive and easier to arrange than a local taxis.
Tailor made tours of Dartmoor and the local area can also be booked by residents.
