Offering peace, tranquillity and stunning all round views of Dartmoor, Lower Willsworthy Cottage is the perfect holiday escape for couples, families or friends. It’s also ideally located for hiking, with Tavy Cleave, a renowned beauty spot just 20 minutes away on foot.

The spacious holiday cottage is a converted traditional old stone barn, situated within 40 beautiful acres of private grounds. It sleeps up to six people with three large bedrooms, including an en-suite king-size master bedroom and a large family bathroom.

All of the cottage accommodation is located on the first floor, except for the twin bedroom which is situated on the ground floor. The great benefit of this arrangement is that every room has a wonderful countryside view.

There are 40 acres at Lower Willsworthy to lose yourself in. This includes 2 acres of gardens exclusively for guests, with the Willsworthy Brook running through it. There is even your very own stretch of the splendid River Tavy to enjoy (with single bank fishing rights), where you can take a dip in several rock pools – ideal for cooling off on a hot summer’s day.

Lower Willsworthy’s beautiful lake and its surrounding area is the perfect place for wildlife lovers, where one can sit and relax whilst taking in an abundance of nature all around.

In the evening, why not enjoy the stunning views of Dartmoor and gorgeous sunsets from the courtyard seating area.
