Survival Skills/Bushcraft sessions
In kind conjunction with Dartmoor activity Centre, Haytor, We are offering survival skills/Bushcraft sessions, this could be half day, full day or a two day with an over night.
Activities include, fire lighting, whitling/knife skills, shelter building, water purification, open fire cooking, 1st Aid.
Now Offering: Mountain Training Hill Skills
The Hill Skills course is your key to getting started in countryside and moorland walking. No previous hill walking experience is required because the content of the course is aimed at beginners. If you do have some experience of hill walking but aren’t confident about planning walks, navigating, and understanding the equipment required, then the Hill Skills course is an ideal way to learn.
The sessions can be either at Dartmoor Activity Centre Haytor, Sidvale Scout Centre, Sidmouth or we can come to a venue near you.

We are hitting the road in a joint venture with Dartmoor Activity Centre (Haytor) We are taking some of our activities on the road to venues at schools, colleges, Youth Groups * private groups. What is the “Quest”
It is a series of group challenge and team exercises to develop the whole team ready to complete the final “Quest”
Lets change the way we run, and you experience your residentials and team building challenges.
The Residential is based on Dartmoor, but we can also bring the challenges and “Quests” to you on a smaller scale to fit in with your budget and time scale.
The challenges could include abseiling down a rocky outcrop to save your team, or battling up the river gorge to find the missing treasure. Or crawling throw the rocky holes to escape from the ensuing disaster. The challenges are endless.
Prepare to be amazed at the challenges we can provide and your skills you will learn to complete them.

Your mission: Assemble a team, break your code and build your team kit to locate your Quest camp, then complete small group challenges to prepare the team for the main “Event”. Guided by the quest leader, locate the team objective and complete the tasks.
Operating outdoors allows children & adults to develop self-confidence, independence and self-esteem. They also become aware of limits, boundaries and challenges in their surroundings

Our “Quests” could be environmental to help save the planet, There could be a natural disaster and our team is challenged to help save their team!!
