We are open every day from 10 am – 5 pm (weather permitting) with the last entry into the Estate at 3 pm. In case of bad weather, check our website for more information.

Prices

Groups of 10 + will get £1 off admission price. Annual membership tickets offer excellent value for money. Visit as many times as you like throughout the season all for the price of less than 3 visits plus receive 10% off the cafe and gift shop. Adult annual membership £25, Children annual membership £15, Students/ OAP Season Tickets £20, Family annual membership £70 (2 Adults and 2 children 5-15), NEW Family Holiday Ticket (1 week validity + 10% off cafe/snack bar/shop, (2 adults & 2 children 5-15) £35, (extra child £5). Under 5 years – free entry. Please note for 2021 you will be required to book your ticket online before you travel, all details can be found on the website.

Canonteign Falls is excited to announce we will be open 7 days a week from March 31st 2021. New for this season we have launched an online booking system to manage visitor numbers in light of Covid – 19. Please visit our website to book your ticket or visiting slot before you travel.

Our 90 acres of estate land, woodland, lakes and waterfalls offer considerable space for exercise, fresh air, and picnics.

Canonteign Falls is a stunning natural attraction in the heart of Devon. Visit for peaceful walks among the waterfalls and lakes and family fun in the gardens and playgrounds. Escape the crowds and experience the highest waterfall in Dartmoor National Park.

Set in 90 acres of park and woodland, Canonteign is a must-see for Devon visitors, with walks and activities for all ages and abilities. From a gentle stroll around the lakes,to a bracing stomp through spectacular woods up to the top of the Falls, our beautiful corner of the countryside is perfect for enjoying the fresh air and having fun with the family.

90 original Victorian steps lead up through the Victorian fern garden to the top of the Falls itself, with soaring panoramic views available from many vantage points. Children can play safely in two different areas where a zip wire, pirate ship and trampolines await. During this time one-way systems will be in operation and social distancing regulations will be in place.

To prioritise visitor and staff safely Canonteign Cafe is open serving a takeaway menu of local food and refreshments to supplement your picnic. There is plentiful outdoor seating arranged at a social distance. The outdoor Snack Bar is also open for takeaway food, filter coffee, hot chocolate, ice cream, and refreshments.

So whether you want to soak up the sun on our terrace or take the little ones on a woodland adventure, we invite you to have a wonderful day with us. Finish the day with a browse in our charming gift shop which will now be accessed as you leave the Falls. We welcome dogs on leads both inside and out. Visit our website for up and coming events. * Due to the nature of our location, in times of heavy rain or high winds it may be necessary to close Canonteign Falls for health and safety reasons. Prior to travelling, we would recommend that you check our website which will be updated by 9 am or call us (after 10.00am) on 01647 252434 and speak to our receptionist for a daily update. Any tickets booked can be changed for an alternative date or a full refund will be given.
Dog friendly! Four legged friends are very welcome but need to be on a lead at all times due to the abundance of wildlife in the Falls.
