This spring, Boringdon Hall, the enchanting Grade I listed manor on the edge of Dartmoor, redefines the Devonshire Afternoon Tea with the launch of a new seasonal schedule of‘Special Edition’ Afternoon Teas, designed to surprise, delight and intrigue, all set against a backdrop of timeless grandeur.
Each ‘Afternoon Tea Edition’ is thoughtfully curated to reflect the time of year, seasonal moments or national celebrations. Guests can expect Boringdon Hall’s classic Afternoon Tea foundations — finely cut savoury sandwiches, plain and fruit scones served with clotted cream and preserves, and an elegant selection of cakes — alongside bespoke creations designed exclusively for each theme. Some delights may be playful, others indulgent, and occasionally… not quite what they seem.
From storybook whimsy to celebratory sparkle, and with a mischievous nod to April Fool’s Day, these Special Editions invite guests to return again and again, never quite knowing what surprise might arrive on the stand.
