Fabulous Food in the Heart of Devon – Dartmoor
So many people who visit Devon ask us to give them suggestions for places to eat and drink, that we decided to create a handy Delicious Dartmoor Map in the form of a leaflet they can simply pop in their pocket.
It’s fairly straightforward for us, for as well as being the Destination Marketing Organisation for Dartmoor, we are also a well-established and award winning Design & Publishing business!
Food on Dartmoor and in the surrounding areas of Devon is superb, no doubt about it. Fresh, local produce grown on the widely diverse terrain of Dartmoor National Park and the rolling hills of Devon countryside is lovingly produced by some of the finest chefs in the country.
Beef produced from the cattle grazing the commons and farms of Dartmoor, lamb from the flocks of sheep that cover the moor, fish from the rivers and fresh vegetables, fruit and salads grown in the fertile Devon fields and wine lovingly produced right here in Devon.
All of this means that when you sit down with your family or friends to enjoy a three course dinner, a delicious pub lunch, an amazing afternoon tea or a full English breakfast at your favourite café, you are assured of great local produce and simply superb food!
