Devon Country House

With space for everyone, Cider House offers the perfect self-catered escape for up to 8 guests in four fabulous ensuite bedrooms with walk in showers and roll top baths aplenty, a relaxing, stylish drawing room with a large open fire, TV snug, beautiful country kitchen and award winning gardens beyond every window.

From exploring the 800 year old Abbey, the 700 acre estate, the woodland playpark, and nature trails, the award winning National Trust gardens, the artisan workshops and café on site or picking your favourite spot with a good book and birdsong, guests need not leave their haven of tranquillity.  But choose to do so and Dartmoor National Park with its wild and magical terrain lies on the door step, the stunning Devon coast line a mere 15 miles away, the local stannary town of Tavistock with thriving pannier market, farmers markets and independent shops are a short drive for an array of delicious local supplies.

Langworthy

Langworthy is a classically beautiful room with king size bed, with views of our gardens, linhay and valley beyond from the stunning south facing granite mullioned bay window – perfect for reading in or just relaxing and enjoying the view. Langworthy has a luxurious ensuite shower room with powerful large rainfall shower.

Woodbine

Woodbine is our master suite and is the epitome of luxury b and b; comprising a stylish dressing room, beautiful bedroom accommodating a super-kingsize colonial four poster bed, elegant furnishings, large south facing windows giving stunning views down the valley and a sumptuous ensuite with stunning roll top bath and large walk-in shower.

Northwood

Northwood offers the best of boutique b&b in an historic building. Situated in the oldest part of the house and part of the original cider barn of the estate. Northwood is a large high ceilinged room offering the versatility of either 6’6″ Emperor-sized bed or twin beds if required. This beautifully furnished double aspect room has views of the Abbey and spectacular Great Barn as well as the Cider House gardens, a stunning ensuite with luxurious roll top bath and large powerful rainfall shower over.

Pippin

Pippin offers charm and tranquillity in a boutique Dartmoor bed and breakfast. This cosy king size room feels more like a miniature suite, beautifully appointed with antique pieces and luxurious fabrics. The bathroom is stunning with a huge, spoiling roll top bath and rainfall shower over – whilst soaking in the bath guests can enjoy views of the garden and beautiful valley beyond.
