The Morley Consort is an early music ensemble, interweaving music with first-hand historical accounts, to create a captivating evening of music, history and storytelling. Drawn together by a shared passion for reimagining historical performance, the ensemble combines applied research, craftsmanship and a fresh approach, bringing rarely heard techniques and practices from primary sources vividly to life for modern audiences.
This concert forms part of a short tour, with performances in Tavistock, Ashburton, Totnes, Exeter, and culminating on the Golden Hinde ship in London. The Morley Consort are supported by the Continuo Foundation.
